service manager (nursing)
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Service Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Armagh, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This care home has been developed to provide care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex physical disabilities
**Qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC Pin preferred, but not essential**
As the Service Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring delivery of effective quality care to the people we support, helping residents to grow in self-worth and where possible independently, enhancing overall quality of life
• Manage and maximise occupancy, by building a positive local reputation and through creative marketing strategies
• Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, meeting and exceeding care standards, taking accountability for the home striving for excellence, high ratings, and quality recognition within the local community
• Positive management of staff including HR/supervisions/appraisal/staff training/ acknowledging and utilising staff potential (with the support of central service teams)
• Maintaining financial efficiency and budgets for the home
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• A highly motivated and experienced leader
• Drive and passion to deliver excellent care and support
• Have significant knowledge of the Northern Ireland regulatory framework we work within
• Putting your own positive stamp on the home and the business
• Have experience within a similar role
The successful Service Manager will receive an amazing competitive salary. This exciting position is a Full Time for 40 hours a week role working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
