Nursery Nurse Required

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to join a highly reputed nursery in Redditch area. As nursery nurse you will lead the room in the toddler room running the room efficiently.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £8.00 per hour plus other great benefits.
To lead the room in the toddler room running the room efficiently.

• responsibility for a key group of children
• completing quality observations
• planning in line with EYFS
• liaising with parents

In addition EYP and Room Leaders will have responsibility for: Safeguarding children at all times.

Provision mapping of children
• leading on planning
• motivating and supervising staff teams
• chairing room meetings
• implementing new ideas
• Autonomy within your roles to bring new ideas and implement them across the setting

Must have:
• minimum level 3 in childcare
• Paediatric First Aid trained- current certificate
• - Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• ideally post qualifying experience within a nursery
• strong knowledge of the EYFS especially the 7 areas of learning in regard to planning
• good communication skills
• genuine passion for working in childcare
• for room leader role must have previous senior level experience.
• Keep room clean and tidy and set toys ready for next day for the children.

The role is working in the toddler room and is full time.
