Oncology Staff Nurse

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Oncology Staff Nurse to work in a reputable, exceptional private hospital based in the South Kensington, London area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This is private hospitals which offers treatment for both adults and children, and are dedicated to providing world-class care to patients

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RGN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As a Nurse your key duties include:
• Provide high quality physical and psychological care with compassion, and participate in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service and manage care of allocated patients
• You’ll need to be competent to undertake the role and confidently and safely communicate patients care needs
• Act as a Link Nurse in a designated area reporting to and from meetings / training updates and recognise the needs for DOL’s assessments, mental capacity assessment and ‘simple’ and ‘complex’ safeguarding referrals and highlight any concerns

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Must have a current ILS certificate or be prepared to undertake the course within the first 3 months
• Appropriate experience in a Staff Nurse role
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Experience in risk assessment
• Venepuncture and wound care competent
• Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £32,390 - £39,330 per annum DOE. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
