**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse or an ODP with a current active NMC/HCPC registration**
As an Anaesthetics Theatre Practitioner/ODP your key responsibilities include:
Prepare and assist with the administration of anaesthesia
Monitor patients vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery
Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
Maintain a sterile field and ensure infection control protocols are followed
Assist the surgical team with positioning and draping the patient
Provide post-operative care and support to patients as they recover from anaesthesia
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
One year of experience in a UK theatre setting, with knowledge of various surgical specialties
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care
The successful Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner/ODP will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 - £41,535 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working on early and late shifts.
