Learning and Development Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Learning and Development Manager to deliver mandatory training to staff across the Trust for one of UK’s leading health care providers. You will be regularly travelling to the homes in Sevenoaks, Seal, Tunbridge and Hastings

You will oversee and have responsibility for the recording of training throughout the Trust

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent**

As the Learning and Development Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Deliver mandatory training, compliance and required training (for example health, safety & Well-being, SOVA, Infection Control, etc.) at all allocated homes
• Assist in the design of mandatory, compliance and required training sessions as required
• Attend as necessary training events as required
• Support with maintaining the Trust’s training KPI’s, liaising with homes and proactively following up failures to meet the identified KPI’s
• Contribute to divisional reports where required
• Carry out frequent travel nationwide

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Substantial experience of working as a trainer in social care
• Proven track record in facilitating and delivery of high quality training
• Understanding of the Health and Social Care training agenda
• Knowledge of the care sector, and in particular elderly residential care

The successful Learning and Development Manager will receive an excellent salary of £22,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent part time role working through days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
