Modern Matron

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Modern Matron to work in an exceptional mental health service based in the Norfolk area. As a Modern Matron you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This special service provides assessment and treatment for young people aged 12 to 18 years old who have a neurodevelopmental disorder, complex needs and who may also have an underlying mental illness. They also provide care for adults aged 18 years and over who have an acute mental health illness and require timely intervention for assessment and treatment, to alleviate symptoms allowing them to return home as soon as possible.

As a Modern Matron your day to day duties include:
• Responsible for the operational management of Nursing and Therapy staff team
• Lead the clinical teams to deliver our purpose to make a real and lasting difference for everyone we support
• Lead by building a culture that supports our values and puts the people we care for at the centre of what we do
• Supported by the multi-disciplinary team at site and the wider group teams
• You will be accountable for ensuring clinical and therapeutic interventions meets the needs of our patients and the service

An ideal Modern Matron must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• Valid NMC Pin
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• Forward thinking, proactive and creative
• Strong background within leadership and people management
• Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills essential

The successful Modern Matron will receive an excellent annual salary from £45,000 - £50,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time working for 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
