Deputy Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager/RGN to work in an exceptional nursing home service based in the Southport area. As a Deputy Manager/RGN you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special nursing home has highly qualified trained staff that are on hand to support residents at the nursing home in a manner that is both professional and unobtrusive, promoting independence as well as sense of well being and security.
As a Deputy Manager/RGN your day to day duties include:
• Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
• Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical and social needs.
• Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
• Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
• Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees

An ideal Deputy Manager/RGN must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference.
• Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.
• Strong leadership and management qualities are essential and previous experience as a deputy home manager would be desirable.
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• NMC Registered

The successful Deputy Manager/RGN will receive an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £32,760 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 36 hours a week working on Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
